What the heck is color blocking and isn't it only for, like, clothing? Ha! Color blocking is a fabulous trend that has come and gone throughout the years, but it's back and stronger than ever. You can see color blocking on the runways, in the streets, and on the FACE! That's right, ladies. Color blocking is the new smokey eye. This summer is the time to experiment and explore all sorts of fantastic color combinations for your eyes, cheeks, and lips.
We're seeing bold blues, crazy corals, and yummy yellows all over the place and it's simply irresistible. I couldn't wait to pull out my Coastal Scents Matte Eyeshadow and Blush pallet and get to work. I chose to go with a range of Royal blues and Sky blues and pair it with some gorgeous coral shades to really give the eyes a fun POP! I also brushed some coral blush on my cheeks and lips.
To create my coral lips, simply mix a coral eyeshadow or blush of your choice with a clear lip balm like Rose Bud Salve. It's easy, fast, and super fun :D Remember to experiment with your makeup. You never know what you'll come up with.
